Countdown to the 2023 Bucks County Designer House & Gardens!

Designer EFFORTS

Our designers begin work the minute we have a house. After a walkthrough, designers submit their top room choices and their design plans for their first choice. Our committee selects the designer for each space, works through any issues with the planned design based on any restrictions from the homeowners, and then off they go!

The next several months are spent finalizing their plans and purchasing supplies. Then, immediately after our usual Empty House Party (unfortunately not held this year), designers start the renovation. They have about 5-6 weeks to complete their work, which can be as simple as “paint and decorate,” or be as complex as a complete gut and rebuild on their area. Then it’s the “designers’ dance” of figuring how to bring in furniture and make final touches without damaging one another’s work. They finish a few days before our opening Gala, we hold our and publicity events, and then it’s on to our Gala Party and opening day, a month of house tours, and any special events we are able to hold based on COVID safety protocols.

Lucy enjoys blending her original artistic concepts with others, to develop a vision in all aspects of art. She has been commissioned for fine art reproduction work on canvas and has extensive  experience in faux, marble, stone, tile, etched and stained-glass finishes. Her murals are truly one-of-a-kind. Lucy’s fine art can be seen in private residences, fine hotels - including the lobby ceiling of the Willard Hotel in Washington D.C, Designer Showhouses, luxury yachts, office buildings, and fine dining establishments.

Lisa Lazarus & Robert Belchic - Living Room

Lisa Lazarus Interiors is a full-service Interior Design Studio dedicated to creating beautiful and functional interiors for their valued clients. Lisa specializes in custom window treatments, furnishings and more to create a look that is unique to her clients. Robert provides designer products and services to the trade including custom window treatments and furniture. Together, Lisa & Robert formed “Design Style Studios,” combining their talents to provide the best possible client experience.

Make a note of the Area and Item Numbers and head for our Designer Sales Office to claim your treasure. Was the last one sold? Our volunteers may be able to work with you and the designer to find you a replacement or re-order. The Designer Sales office is in the Welcome Tent.
