Welcome to the 2021 Bucks County Designer House & Gardens! We’re hard at work on our 2022 House!

This is an exciting time for the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown: we just celebrated our 125th anniversary (1895 – 2020), this year will mark 50 years since we offered our first Designer House (1971 – 2021), and in 2023 Doylestown Hospital, the system the VIA founded and still governs, will celebrate its 100th anniversary (1923 – 2023). All this in support of the health and welfare of all our families.

Thank you for supporting us through the years!

We hope you enjoyed the 46th annual Bucks County Designer House & Gardens. We restored a wonderful 1870s mansion to its former grace and splendor. For four weeks, our guests had the chance to travel back in time to experience the grandeur of the last two centuries combined with our designers’ and landscapers’ brilliant work. In spite of COVID, we had a wonderful turnout, with many compliments from our guests. It was good to be back!

For 2022, we are looking at Bucks County houses that will continue our tradition of offering a gorgeous home, beautiful gardens, exciting boutiques, and, we hope, a café.  In the meantime, information about our 2021 designers, landscapers, boutiques, and sponsors will remain on the website. Their support and yours make each of our Houses far more than just a day’s entertainment: each year, the majority of our profits from the Designer House are donated to Doylestown Health, with the remaining profits funding our many other charitable missions.

Watch this space for more announcements as we move forward for our 2022 Bucks County Designer House & Gardens!
