Following 30 years with IBM, Michael decided to pursue his dual passions for wild birds as well as independent business ownership. In
January, 2008, he and his wife Jeanne became the owners of Wild Birds Unlimited, Buckingham - a nature shop with specific focus on
the enjoyment provided by the birds in your backyard.
WBU Buckingham has recently begun a partnership with Bowman's Hill Wildflower Preserve in which WBU supports the bird habitat
featured at the Observation Station there. WBU Buckingham is also a member of the Audubon Society at Honey Hill.
Wild Birds Unlimited (WBU) in Buckingham is part of the original and largest franchise system of backyard bird feeding and nature
specialty stores with more than 275 locations throughout North America. WBU is a corporate sponsor of Hawk Mountain and is affiliated
with the Cornell School of Ornithology.

| All birds have basic requirements of food, water, a place to nest and appropriate habitat. Michael will discuss fundamentals of feeders, seed and birdbaths. Mastering this, he will then address how you can attract over 50 species of birds to your backyards. Timing is everything as different birds arrive throughout the year. Knowing what to do each month makes all the difference. |
