Going Green
  • Reduced paper usage -
    internet-based invitations and
    email document
  • Recycled paper used for
    printing needs
  • Used The Bagster bag from
    Waste Management to dispose
    of our construction waste.
  • Demonstrated our
    commitment to sustainability
by using the Big Belly Solar
    Compactor pair from Waste
    Management for trash and
    recyclables (separately). The
    compactors will reduce waste
    collection frequency and
    provide an efficient way to
    recycle.
  • The café catered by Just Food
plans to box all lunches in
    recyclable materials and
    water bottles will be
    compacted in the solar
    compactor being provided by
    Waste Management.
  • Used Low Volatile Organic
    Compounds(VOC) paints
  • Reduce energy use - electric
    timers

The Bucks County Designer House & Gardens is making a concerted effort to

environmentally-friendly products and techniques into their design and we are
changing the way we organize this effort to make a difference as well.
