We are very pleased to announce the selection of Cedaridge Farm in Pipersville as the 43rd Bucks County Designer House and Gardens. This truly unique and incredible property has been featured in Architectural Digest, Fine Gardening Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Royal Horticultural Society Magazine.
Established in 1790 as a Mennonite Dairy Farm and fruit tree orchard, Cedaridge was acquired by Derek and Carolyn Fell in 1989 and spans more than twenty acres of meadows, streams, and woodlands. It includes the main house, a gardener’s house, a ranch house with Mercer tile bathrooms and a peg barn that was transported from the Poconos. Derek Fell is an award-winning writer and photographer who has published more than 100 art, travel and garden books.
The charming main house has many unique features including a glass conservatory, screened porch, amazing river stone fireplaces, exposed stone walls. The property also has a rustic one-bedroom cottage with kitchen and living areas, three bedroom ranch home, bank barn and utility garage. The garden areas are vast with a waterfall leading to a pond, gazebo, cutting garden, and a nature trail.
This property is the ideal house for our 2018 Bucks County Designer House & Gardens. We look forward to seeing you at the Designer Preview.
